The Moonlandingz are a the semi-fictional psych-pop group put together by Sheffield’s practical electronics wizards and analogue taxidermists, 'The Eccentronic Research Council' (Adrian Flanagan & Dean Honer) & Fat White Family's frontman, Lias Saoudi and guitarist, Saul Adamczewski. The collective, who have just signed to Transgressive, have revealed a hypnotic new track in the shape of 'Black Hanz': a kinetic, tie-dyed ode for our times and a song that, the band explain, was "born out of abuse; abuse in the workplace, abuse in the street, abuse by the snivelling toe rags we call a government, abuse for daring to dream and be different. 'Black Hanz' is a celebration of the Outsider, the socially inept, the so-called village weirdo and a curse on the shrivelled genitals of those regressive little Englanders that won't let us move forward, to be ourselves. They can hit us but they won't beat us, Black Hands - Do it Again!" One thing's for sure, we'll be listening again and again. -G.O'B
